Jill Campbell McLean Le Croissette, B. A. University of Sydney, M.S.L.S., Drexel University, was born in Australia. She came to the United States in 1957 and has been a U.S. citizen for many years. From 1957-1981, she worked as an academic and special librarian at various institutions in the United States. In 1972-73, she served as acting Director of the Computer Center at a university in Los Angeles. She resides in Carlsbad, California.
Jill has been a full time studio textile artist since 1982. Her work has been exhibited in over twenty international, national and regional juried multi-media art shows as well as in local art exhibits. In addition, her quilts have been juried into over 60 prestigious textile exhibits, including:

Jill's work is shown in the Artist Alliance display at the Oceanside Museum of Art, Oceanside CA and in the Gallery Pages of www.quiltvisions.com and www.saqa.com.
Jill has also participated in many local quilt and art exhibits, including 5 solo shows of
her work. She has written articles for national publications and her award-winning work has appeared in books and magazines. Her quilts and wearable art are in private collections in the United States, Australia, Britain, France, Spain and Sweden.
